5 Movie Detectives Who Should’ve Solved Things Much Earlier

You ever watch a flick and just think “Why hasn’t this guy found out the mystery?” We sometimes get it right away while the main character takes forever to get the answer. Here are 5 movie detectives who should’ve things quicker.

Inspector Clouseau – ‘The Pink Panther’ series

Inspector Clouseau is out to solve the case of the Pink Panther, a pink diamond that has a unique flaw. The guy behind the caper is “The Phantom”. Clouseau didn’t know is that the culprit was Sir Charles Lytton (he was also having an affair with Clouseau’s wife). The wife was an accomplice.

FBI Agent James Carter – ‘Rush Hour’

Detective Carter is in the LAPD. He wants to go for the “big, big case”, and ends up babysitting Police Inspector Lee, who actually knows about Soo-Yung, the kidnapped child. Due to Carter’s arrogance, he misses out on a lot initially and didn’t want to work with Lee.

FBI Agent Jack Crawford – ‘Manhunter’

Crawford in his investigation of the mysterious Tooth Fairy wants to join up with expert profiler Will Graham. However, this wasn’t necessarily a good idea and he fails to understand the true identity of the Tooth Fairy.

Pikachu – ‘Detective Pikachu

Pikachu is already in a bad spot having amnesia let alone looking for a former Pokemon trainer’s father, Harry. He doesn’t put two and two together when being able to fuse with Tim that maybe his amnesia is a direct correlation between them both being able to communicate with each other directly.

Inspector Gadget – ‘Inspector Gadget’

Inspector Gadget is out to look for Dr. Claw. However, he’s a bit clumsy and naive because he doesn’t know how to use the gadgets properly while his niece Penny is more astute and really does all the work.
