This is based on the 1934 novel where Hercule Poirot is asked to investigate the murder of an American tycoon. It’s a classic and critically acclaimed film that received tons of notoriety and award nominations. Additionally, it was remade in 2001 and 2017.
Witness for the Prosecution (1957)
Here’s quite the suspenseful courtroom drama that focuses on the trial of a man that’s up for murder. This is another Agatha Christie movie from one of her plays.

Appointment With Death (1988)
The film adapted from the 1938 book of the same name which features a “Whodunnit” story when they find a former prison wardress, Emily Boynton, who happened to be poisoned at a camp. Poirot investigates to see if any of the stepchildren were a part of it.
Murder, She Said (1961)
This Agatha Christie story from the 1957 novel “4.50 from Paddington” is about a woman who looks out to the train station and sees a woman being strangled to death. When she alerts the police and they can’t find anything suspicious, she takes matters into her own hands.
