While you may instantly think that this might be some creepy murder movie, nope. This is all in real life (which is even spookier). Here are some weird murder cases:

Issei Sagawa In 1981, Sagawa killed shot and killed a woman in his home. He had a weird ritual where he ate certain parts of her body thinking that he would absorb her beautiful essence. When he tried to dispose of the rest of the body were in a lake in France, near where he lived. He was awaiting trial and the case got dropped because he was declared insane. He’s a bit of a celebrity in Japan where he’s free.

The Alphabet Murders Between 1971 to 1973, three girls were raped, strangled, and killed in upstate New York. There was a weird thing about this because the first initial of first and last name and city where they were dumped were all the same. For example, Carmen Colon was disposed of in Churchville; Michelle Maenza dumped in Macedon; Wanda Walkowicz in Webster. This came to be known as the Alphabet murders.

Tamara Samsonova – The Granny Ripper The 73-year-old murdered and ate at least 11 people between the years from 2000-2015. She was thorough enough even to document the killings in her diary. She was deemed mentally insane and a threat to herself and society as a whole. She’s currently in a specialized institution awaiting her trial date.

The Hello Kitty Murder  Fan Man-yee was a hostess in a Hong Kong nightclub who was kidnapped in 1999 by three gang members. She was tortured for a full month.  Although the actual cause of death is up in the air, the men decapitated her and put her skull inside of a big Hello Kitty Doll. They’re in prison for manslaughter, and it remains one of the cruelest murders in Hong Kong.
